Huguenot Historian
Group Visit to New Paltz, NY
July 16th, 2018

Upon arrival in America, the Ferree family traveled to the Huguenot colony in New Paltz, NY, where they lived while waiting to claim their land grant in Pennsylvania. Some of the original homes from that time are still standing and the grounds are open to visitors and guided tours. For more information on the history of New Paltz and photos of those houses on renowned Huguenot Street, go to the New Paltz Huguenots page on this website.

Donna Jernigan, our Descendants of Marie Ferree Historian/Huguenots, is planning a trip to New Paltz just prior to attending the reunion in July. She is extending an invitation to anyone who might be interested to join her for a group tour on Monday, July 16th. For additional information contact Donna at aggiemomdonna@yahoo.com.
