Joel Ferree Houses
3044 Lincoln Highway East Paradise, PA

11 Sylvan Lane Paradise, PA

The Joel Ferree gunshop was located behind this house. It is currently an antique store known as Paradise Village Antiques.   It is thought this house was built by Joel Ferree on the remains of a home built by his brother, Philip. Located very close to Joel's first house, it was designated as a historical site in the Route 30 Corridor Improvement Study.
Joel Ferree was the son of Philip and Leah Dubois Ferree and grandson of Madame. He was a very prominent gunsmith called upon during the Revolutionary War to provide arms for the military.
